Profile
常田朝子
美術大学卒業後、出版社でグラフィックデザイナーとして勤務しながらイラストの仕事をはじめる。1998年頃フリーランスになる。友人の紹介で現代陶芸ギャラリー「GalleryTAO」を手伝うようになる。自身もイラストやグラフィックの仕事をしながら、陶芸や絵付けをはじめる。
2016年末に「GalleryTAO」が閉廊。それを機に新しい「場」を模索。2017年より自身のアトリエを「場」とし「Little TAO」をスタート。陶芸家、ガラス作家の作品の展示やワークショップなどを開催している。
Tsuneda Tomoko
Graduated from art college and started working as a graphic designer for a publishing company before becoming a freelance illustrator around 1998. Through a friend, began helping out at the contemporary ceramics gallery GalleryTAO. Started making ceramics and painting while also working as an illustrator and graphic designer.
GalleryTAO closes at the end of 2016. In 2017, she started ‘Little TAO’ using her own studio as a ‘place’. Exhibitions of ceramic and glass artists’ works and workshops are held there
